In the 2020 Federal Duck Stamp Contest, held Sept. 25 & 26 in Washington, DC, Guy's original painting of "Lesser Scaup" placed in the top eight final scores. Lesser Scaup was the popular species, with 6 of the top 8 finalists featuring this bird. Richard Clifton of Delaware was the winner, with Jim and Joe Hautman taking second and third. Guy's painting will be on a nationwide tour with the top 15 - 20 from this year's competition. This is the second year in a row Guy has placed in the top ten.
