Goose Hunter in Snow - Giclee on Canvas
Caught in the open! If you are a goose or duck hunter, you have been there too. This piece was inspired by a snowy goose hunt with friends in Virginia. The snowfall came in waves from the fast moving storm that morning. Everything was right and the geese came out of nowhere all morning. No circling. No first pass. Just cupped up and feet dangling. The beauty of that day was seared forever in my memory. The storm did eventually break, but not until we had 8 fat honkers on the ground. What a morning! This painting is available as a print though Fine Art America.
