"Salmon Run" - North American Grizzly Bear - SOLD

Habitat for the North American Grizzly Bear has been dwindling in the American West, and is now largely limited to National Parks.  Grizzlies can grow to over 1200 pounds and can be found in large numbers in the Canadian and Alaskan Coastal and mountain ranges.  This painting was a study of a large grizzly fishing in a shallow stream for Sockeye Salmon. If you look closely you can see the reddish color of the Sockeye in the water near the watchful bear.   Now in private collection.

This painting is available as a print and other products though Fine Art America.
