This 30 x 40 original oil on canvas was created from photos and memories of mornings at Chelsea Pond in King William County, Virginia. I attempted to capture the backlight of the rising sun on the convection fog lifting off the surface of the pond. The fall colors add an interesting element of warm color to the scene. The piece has been sold and is currently in a corporate collection.
