Wild quail populations have dwindled in the last few decades in both states and is in need of major support from lawmakers and conservation groups in order to save a deep southern tradition. Scenes like "Covey Break" are disappearing across the south, and hunting lodges are spending more time and effort to provide "naturalized" quail for sportsmen.
