This painting was inspired by my many trips to Costa Rica, fishing in the deep canyons off of Los Suenos in the clear blue Pacific Ocean. I wanted to create the view of the boat being hooked up in the background while the big marlin jumps in the foreground. The boat is the Mainline, a 53 ft. Jarrett Bay. This oil on canvas is 36 x 48 and is framed in a maritime silver frame and ready to hang. This painting is hanging in a special collection and is available to view by appointment only.
