Trumpeter Swans - Giclee on Canvas
The largest of all North American Birds, Trumpeter swans are graceful on the water or in flight. With a wingspan of close to 8 feet across, these guys create a powerful thrust to lift such large bodies into flight. I studied these birds in an aviary before attempting the painting. An early morning peek of sunlight burns through the rising mist off the water, creating the glow of pure white feathers and a soft reflection on the water. This painting is available as a print though Fine Art America.
