This original oil on board is "competition quality" with the feathering and detail. This Mallard pair placed 2nd in the 2012 Louisiana Duck Stamp competition. Guy placed 2nd in Louisiana in both 2012 and 2013. It is a challenge to paint the true iridescent colors you find in the mallard's feathering. To make the ducks really look 3D, Guy chose a neutral gray misty background. The image size is 13 x 18, and framed in gold with linen liner and gold fillet. Available for $3,200.
