WINNER! - Guy Crittenden wins 2015 North Carolina Waterfowl Conservation Stamp Competition

Feb 5, 2015.  The winner of the 2015-16 North Carolina Waterfowl Conservation Stamp contest is Guy Crittenden of Richmond, Virginia.  In a competition held on Jan. 26th, Guy's painting of a pair of black ducks in the shallows took top honors in one of the most highly sought prizes for wildlife artists in the nation.  The unveiling of the winning entries took place at Turnage Theater in downtown Washington, North Carolina on Thursday evening before the opening of the East Carolina Waterfowl Festival.  "This win is one of the biggest thrills of my artistic career. North Carolina is one of the most prestigious competitions in the nation for waterfowl artists, and to be in this company is quite an honor."  Second Place went to Scot Storm and third place to Matt Clayton.
